Doris B Kearns

August 1, 1924 - November 18, 2010

Doris B. Chipman Kearns was born in Grant County, Kentucky on August 1, 1924 and passed away at her residence in Dry Ridge, Kentucky on November 18, 2010 at the age of 86. She was the daughter of the late Omer Sales and Anna Belle Mullins Chipman.

Mrs. Kearns is survived by one daughter, Donna Hutcherson of Crittenden, KY; four sons, Gayle Kearns of Williamstown, KY, Gerald Kearns of Dry Ridge, KY, Donnie Kearns of Dry Ridge, KY and RonaldDunn of Westland, MI; 24 grandchildren; 45 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren. she was preceded in death by one daughter, Carol Ann Sloan; two sons, Charles Eugene Dunn and Omer Glenn Kearns; one brother, Oakley Chipman and two sisters, Audra May Adkins and Opal Fay Wolfe.

Doris was a nurse's aide for many years working for the Carlsbad Nursing Home and the Dry Ridge Personal Care Home. She remained a member of the Oak Ridge Baptist Church at the time of her death.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Sunday, November 21, 2010 at the Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home, 500 N. Main St., Williamstown, KY with visitation at the funeral home from 5 - 8 PM on Saturday. Burial will be in the Hill Crest Cemetery, Dry Ridge, KY. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
