Sue Edna Reeves

July 9, 1915 - January 20, 2010

Sue Edna Simpson Reeves, of Dry Ridge, KY, was born in Owen County, Kentucky on July 9, 1915 and passed away at the Grant Manor Health and Rehabilitation Center in Williamstown, Kentucky on January 20, 2010 at the age of 94.

Mrs. Reeves was the widow of Kenneth Stephenson Lockhart who passed away on January 12, 1976 and the widow of Thomas Coleman Reeves who preceded her in death on December 8, 1996. She is survived by one stepson: Robert B. Day of Dry Ridge, KY; one brother: Robert Morris of Lawrenceburg, KY; two grandchildren Tommy Day and Timmy Day; eight great grandchildren; 8 great great grandchildren and many other friends and relatives.

Sue was the owner of the Lockhart's Jewelry in Williamstown and a homemaker. Mrs. Reeves was a member of the Williamstown Christian Church where she formerly was Sunday School Secretary and a choir member.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Monday, January 25, 2010 at the Williamstown Christian Church, 318 N. Main St., Williamstown, KY 41097. Visitation will be 4:00 - 7:00 PM Sunday, January 24, 2010 at the Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home, 500 N. Main St., Williamstown, KY41097 and at the church on Monday morning from 10:00 - 11:00 AM. Burial will be in the Hill Crest Cemetery, Dry Ridge, KY. Memorials are suggested to the Williamstown Christian Church Building Fund.
