BURLINGTON- Mr. Charles Emerson Mitchell,a former resident of Walton, KYwas born in Cincinnati, OH on Feb. 5, 1944 and departed this life at University Hospital, Cincinnati, OH on Friday, Jan. 8, 2010 at the age of 65 years, 11 months, and 3 days.

Mr. Mitchellserved in the U. S. Air Forcefrom 1961-1965. Mr. Mitchell was aretiredupholsterer for Ficks Reed of Cincinnati, OH. Ficks Reed is a furniture manufacturer.

Mr. Mitchell is survived by his parents, Oscar and IvaStamper Mitchell of Fairfield, OH; three sons, Brian Mitchell of Ft. Worth, TX and Kevin Mitchell of Burlington, Jason Sommers of Houston, TX; one brother, Ralph Mitchell of Loredo, TX; one sister, Joann Back of Faifield, OH; and eight grandchildren.

Visitation for Mr. Mitchell will be Tuesday from 5-8pm at the Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home in Williamstown. Funeral services will be Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2010 at 12:30 pm at the Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the KY Veterans Cemetery - North, Williamstown.
