Roy Glenn Hutchinson, was born July 26, 1939 in Falmouth, Kentucky and passed away peacefully Tuesday evening, January 5, 2010 at his home. He was the beloved husband of Luellen Hope (Pelkey); father of 9: Rodney Hutchinson, Rick Hutchinson, Ron Hutchinson, Roy Eugene Hutchinson, Theodore Butts, Christine Bowe, Donna Hallock, Rachelle Ketron, and William Butts who preceded him in death; grandfather of 21, and great-grandfather of 3.
He was a long-time resident of Falmouth - the son of the late George & Thelma (Antrobus) Hutchinson; grandson of the late Willie Van & Jessie Bell (Smith) Hutchinson and the late Finley & Tencie Ruth (Harris) Antrobus; brother to Ruth Ann Cummins, Gary Hutchinson, and the late Georgia Brownfield.
Roy dedicated 26 years to the United States Navy and 25 years with the justice department of Pendleton County. The discipline and patriotism he acquired in the military never left him as his friends and family will attest. His life had come full circle, he traveled the world in his military career, but chose the farm on which he was born to retire to. It was on that very beloved homestead that he passed through the bonds of Earth to rejoin the Lord.
