Martha Alice Gamble

July 6, 1920 - December 27, 2009

Martha Alice Fannin Gamble was born July 6, 1920 in Paintsville, Kentucky to the late Samuel Henry Fannin and Callie Collins Cantrell and passed away on December 27, 2009 in Florence, Kentucky at the age of 89 years, 5 months, and 11 days.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: William Gamble. She is survived by four sons: Bill Gamble of Crittenden, David Gamble of Crestview Hills, Samuel Gamble of Blue Ash, Ohio, and Don Gamble of Union; two daughters: Martha Ward of Crittenden and Donita Winkle of Florence; 10 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren.

She was a retired clerk for Boone Co. Drugs in Walton, KY and a former member of the First Christian Church of Paintsville.

Graveside Services for Mrs. Gamble will Tuesday, December 29, 2009 at 1:00 PM at the New Bethel Cemetery in Verona, Kentucky. The burial will follow in the New Bethel Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association.
