Robert Edward Mullins

December 30, 1942 - December 7, 2009

Robert Edward "Moon" Mullins was born December 30, 1942 in Fiskburg, Kentucky tothe late Ira Robert and Polina Frances Brown Mullins. He passed on December 7, 2009 in Owenton, Kentucky at the age of 66.

On January 14, 1971, Robert was united in marriage to Grace Mann Mullins. In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons: Robert A. Mullins of Williamstown, Jason A. Mullins of Mt. Juliet, TN, and Justin Chriest of Williamstown; one daughter: Rebecca Chriest of Williamstown; two sisters: Audrey Reynolds of Verona, KY, and Glenna Sydnor of Erlanger, KY; and 6 Grandchildren.

"Moon" was an Army veteran of the Vietnam Era. He was a former employee of Latonia Race Track and Turfway Race Course in Florence, KY and he was a retired Carpenter.

Services will be Friday, December 11, 2009 at 10:30 AM at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home in Williamstown. Visitation will be Thursday, December 10, 2009 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Funeral Home. The burial will be in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery, North in Williamstown.
