John Andrade

January 29, 1923 - December 10, 2009

Mr. John Andrade of Williamstown, KY, was born on January 29, 1923, on the island of Kauai, Hawaii. He passed away Thursday, December 10, 2009, in Edgewood, KY, at the age of 86.

John was the son of the late Albert and Virginia Costa-Ayres Andrade, he was a former heavy equipment operator for Tub Willoughby and Charles Kinman, and a former employee of State Machine Co. Dry Ridge, KY. John was also a member of the St. Williams Catholic Church, Williamstown, KY. He was united in marriage on June 14, 1947 to Beatrice Morales Andrade.

In addition to being survived by Beatrice, his wife of 62 years,he is also survived by 1 son, Scott Andrade of Florence, KY; 2 daughters, Sister Georgette Andradeof Lexington, KY, and Joann Schlachter of Morning View, KY; 12 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 1 brother, Richard Costa-Ayresof Kauai Island, Hawaii; and 1 sister, Ethel Jardine of Kauai Island , Hawaii.

Services for John will be at 11:00am Saturday, December 12, 2009 at the St. William Catholic Church, Williamstown, KY. Burial will be at the Hill Crest Cemetery, Dry Ridge, KY. Visitation for John will be after 10:00am Saturday at the church.
