"Jay" Frank Heaton

December 13, 1928 - November 9, 2009

James Franklin Norris Heaton, of Lakeside Park, Kentucky,was born in Science Hill, Kentucky on December 13, 1928 and passed away at the St. Elizabeth Healthcare, Edgewood, Kentucky on November 9, 2009 at the age of 80. He was the son of the late Clinton Otis and Verda Lucy Norris Heaton.

"Jay" is survivedby his wife, Linda Darlene Freeman Heaton; his daughters: Charlene Heaton of Lexington, KY and Rossi Ison of Lexington, KY; his son: George C. Heaton of Ruidoso, NM; his stepsons: Joseph Shane Angel of Hebron, KY and Bryon Todd Daly of Boone County, KY; three grandchildren; four step grandchildren; two step great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. His son, James Franklin Heaton, Jr. preceded his father in death in 1968.

Funeral services will be 12:00 Noon, Saturday, November 14, 2009 at the Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home, 500 N. Main St., Williamstown, KY 41097. Visitation will also be on Saturday at the funeral home from 10:00 AM until Noon. Burial will take place in the Williamstown Cemetery, Williamstown, Kentucky. Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
