Judy C Schadler

August 16, 1944 - November 10, 2009

Judy Kay Courtney Schadler was born in Scott County, Kentucky on August 16, 1944 and passed away at the St. Elizabeth Healthcare, Florence, Kentucky on November 10, 2009 at the age of 65. She was the daughter of the late Willard Foster and Mary Katherine Woolums Courtney.

Judy is survived by her loving husband, Bob Schadler; two sons: Robert Bradley Schadler of Dry Ridge, KY and Rodney Allen Schadler of Dry Ridge, KY; one daughter: Regina Kay Schadler of Dry Ridge, KY; one daughter-in-law,: Paula Schadler of Dry Ridge, KY; four brothers: James Courtney of Owensboro, KY, Bruce Courtney of Taneytown, MD, Donald Courtney of Crittenden, KY and Rick Courtney of Crittenden, KY; two grandsons: Corey Foster Franklin Schadler and Jordan Robert Schadler both of Dry Ridge, KY and many other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Schadler was a Girl Scout Leader for 10 years, a leader for T.O.P.S. for 5 years, a volunteer for the P.T.A. for Dry Ridge Elementary Schools and a licensed Beautician. She remained a member of the Sherman Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be Saturday, November 14, 2009 at 10:00 AM at the Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home, 132 S. Main St., Crittenden, KY 41030. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday, November 13, 2009 from 5:00 - 9:00 PM. Burial will be in the New Bethel Cemetery, Verona, Kentucky. Memorials are suggested to the American Diabetes Association or the National Amputation Foundation.
