Charles Ross Thomas

June 25, 1930 - October 29, 2009

Charles Ross Thomas was born in Covington, Kentucky on June 25, 1930 and passed away at the Thompson - Hood Veterans Center in Wilmore, Kentucky on October 29, 2009 at the age of 79. He was the son of the late Dowell Combest and Gertrude Washum Thomas.

Mr. Thomas is survived by one brother: Albert Thomas of Williamstown, KY; one sister: Katherine Harris of Jonesville, KY and many other relatives and friends. Charles was a member of the Mt. Pisgah United Methodist Church, an 8 year veteran of the United States Navy and a 12 year veteran of the United States Air Force. He served during the Korean War. He was an assembler for Litning Products.

Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Sunday, November 1, 2009 at the Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home, 500 N. Main St., Williamstown, KY 41097 with visitation at the funeral home on Sunday from 1:00 - 3:00 PM. Burial will be in the Mt. Pisgah Cemetery in Dry Ridge, KY. Memorials are suggested to the Hospice of the Bluegrass.
