Bennie Wright

Mr. Bennie Wright of the Elliston, KYcommunity, was born September 9, 1934 in Owenton, Kentucky.He passed away Saturday, October 17, 2009 at the St. ElizabethMedical Center in Edgewood, KY at the age of 75 years.

Bennie wasthe son of the late Clarence William and Mary Molly Jones Wright. He was a self-employeed recycler, and attended the Verona First Full Gospel Church of God. Bennie was united in marriage to Nadine Bailey Wright on June 21, 1996.

In addition to his wife of 13 years, Bennie is survived by 4 daughters, Rita Finfrock, Maxine Mattingly, and Tonya Osborne all of Frankfort, KY, and Valerie Mays of Georgetown, KY; 2 step daughters, Linda Pierce of Dry Ridge, KY and Judy Cress of Florence, KY; 1 step son, Micky Griggs of Dry Ridge, KY; 12 Grandchildren; 14 Great Grandchildren; and 1 sister, Elnora Roland of Nineveh, IN.

In addition to his parents, Bennie was also preceded in death by 2 sons, Thomas Wright, and Harold Wayne Wright.

Services for Bennie are 11:00am Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown, KY, with burial in the New Columbus Cemetery, Owen County, KY. Visitation will be 4:00pm - 7:00pm, Tuesday, October 20, 2009, at the funeral home.
