Marilyn Scott

Marilyn Marie Scott, of Corinth,was born in Owen County, Kentucky on January 3, 1956 and passed away at the St. Elizabeth Healthcare, Edgewood, KY on October 15, 2009 at the age of 53. Marilyn was the daughter of Stanley Hammonds of Corinth, KY and Dorothy Barnhill Hammonds of Owen County, KY.

Mrs. Scott is survived by her husband, Cecil M. Scott; her son: Jamie Epperson of Falmouth, KY; her stepson: Michael Scott of Springfield, OH; her stepdaughter: Stephanie Richardson of Crittenden, KY; her sister: Debbie Howard of Owen County, KY; her brothers: David Hammonds of Florence, KY and Johnny Hammonds ofWilliamstown, KY; seven stepgrandchildren and many other relatives and friends.

Marilyn was a clerk at the Crittenden Shell Station and formerly worked at the EZ Stop in Williamstown. She was an Owen County High School graduate and a member of the Cherry Grove Pentecostal Church in Williamstown, KY.

Funeral services will be 3:00 PM, Sunday, October 18, 2009 at the Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home, 500 N. Main St., Williamstown, KY 41097. Friends may call at the funeral home from Noon until 3:00 PM Sunday. Burial will follow at the Oddfellows Cemetery in Corinth, KY.
