Herget Winston Sewell

March 9, 1931 - January 20, 2013

Herget Winston Sewell was born March 9, 1931 in Boone Co., Kentucky and passed away Jan. 20, 2013 in Owen Co., Kentucky at the age of 81. He was the son of the late Carl Oscar and Minnie Dovie Webb Sewell.

Hergett was a US Navy veteran serving in the Korean Conflict. He was a retired Fireman for the B & O Railroad. Heloved hunting and fishing and was an avid trapper. He spent a lot of time cutting tobacco throughout Boone and Owen Counties.

Graveside services will be 10:30 AM Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013 at Big Bone Baptist Church Cemetery in Union. Visitation will be 9 AM - 10 AM, Saturday at the Hamilton-Stanley Funeral Home, Verona.
