Charles Beckett

April 23, 1931 - January 9, 2013

Charles Tildon Beckett, resident of Florence, KY, was born in Oddville, Kentucky on April 23, 1931 and passed away in an auto accident in Dalton, Georgia on January 9, 2013 at the age of 81. He was the son of the late Carlton and Ellen Mae Caswell Beckett.

On October 22, 1965, Charles was united in marriage with the former Donna Rose Raisor, who also passed away as a result of the accident. From this union, one daughter, Tanya Brashear was born. In addition to his loving daughter, Mr. Beckett is survived by his sister, Icealene Blake of Covington and two granddaughters: Lauren Brashear and Jordan Brashear.

A member of the Transportation Workers Union, Mr. Beckett was a retired Fleet Service Man for American Airlines and a member of the First Church of Christ, Burlington, KY.

Funeral services for Mr. Beckett will be in conjunction with those of his wife, 12:30 PM, Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at the Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home, 500 N. Main St., Williamstown, KY, 41097. Visitation will be from 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM, Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery, North, Williamstown, KY. Memorials are suggested to the First Church of Christ, Burlington, KY 41008.
