Howard W Dawalt

Howard Wendell Dawalt was born in Gardnersville, Kentucky on July 19, 1934 and passed away at his residence in Independence, Kentucky on January 8, 2013 at the age of 78. He was the son of the late Blaine and Rhoda McCormick Dawalt.

Howard was married to the former Rose Marie Poole who preceded him in death in 1999. "Pap" as he was widely known is survived by one daughter, Latoshia Dawalt of New Castle and two sons, William Joseph "Bill" Dawalt of Independence andTimmy W. "Zeke" Dawalt of Walton survive. Another son, James A. "Jimmy" Dawalt died before his father. In addition Mr. Dawalt is survived by one brother, Russell Dawaltof Falmouth. Two otherbrothers and one sisteralso preceded Howardin death.

Aspotwelder for General Motors in Norwood, Ohio, Howard was a member of the United Auto Workers and the WaltonPost of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Funeral services are 11:00 AM, Monday, January 14, 2013 at the Hamilton - Stanley Funeral Home, 14635 Walton-Verona Rd., Verona, KY 41092. Visitation will be 5:00 - 8:00 PM, Sunday, Jan. 13, 2013 at the funeral home. Burial will be in the St. Patrick Cemetery, Verona, KY.
