Dorothy Ann Shields Montgomery

Dorothy Ann Shields Montgomery of Crittenden, KY was born September 30, 1934 in Cincinnati, OH and passed away Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at the Grant Manor Heath Care Center at the age of 78.

She was the daughter of the late Leon Francis and Louise Van Winkle Smith Shields, a homemaker, andwas united in marriage on March29, 1958to the late James Paris Montgomery. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by 2 sons, James Scott and David Michael Montgomery.

Survived are 3 sons, Daniel Montgomery of Crittenden, KY, Kenneth Montgomery of Georgetown, KY, and Joey Montgomery of Cynthiana, KY; 2 daughters, LeAnn Scholl of Richmond, VA and Rebecca Montgomery of Gainesville, FL; 15 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and 1 brother William Shields of Cynthiana, KY.

Funeral services will be 1:00pm, Saturday, January 5, 2013 at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown, with burial in the Williamstown Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11:00am Saturday at the funeral home.
