Ella Mae Hall Wright

March 31, 1926 - December 30, 2012

Ella Mae Hall Wright, former resident of Dry Ridge,was born in Montgomery County, Kentucky on March 31, 1926 and passed away December 30, 2012 at the Grant Manor in Williamstown, Kentucky at the age of 86. She was the daughter of the late George Soloman and Ida Mae Willoughby Hall.

On December 18, 1942, Ella was united in marriage with Dave William Wright who preceded her in death on October 31, 2008. From this union two sons and three daughters were born: Diann Kathy Kelly of Crittenden, Carol Sponcil (husband - Wayne) of Dry Ridge, Mickie Jones (husband - Kenny) of Williamstown, Kline Wright (wife - Betty) of Dry Ridge and Wayne Wright (wife - Linda) of Richwood. In addition to her loving children, Mrs. Wright is survived by her sister, Nancy Day (husband - Bob) of Dry Ridge, 10 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter.

A clerk for many years in IGA in Dry Ridge and Pic Pac in Williamstown, Mrs. Wright was a member of the Knoxville Baptist Church. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at the Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home, 500 N. Main St., Williamstown, KY 41097. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from Noon - 2:00 PM. Burial will follow in the Hill Crest Cemetery, Dry Ridge. Memorials may be made to Knoxville Baptist Church or one of their own choice.
