Nancy Mae Hounchell Evans

October 27, 1922 - December 24, 2012

Mae Evans of the Holbrook, KY community was born October 27, 1922 in Clay County, KY and passed away Monday, December 24, 2012 at the Grant Manor Nursing Home, Williamstown, KY at the age of 90.

Mae was the daughter of the late Henry and Amelia Trent Hounchell, she was a homemaker, and a member of the Mt. Pisgah United Methodist Church. She was united in marriage on February 26, 1949 to her husband Marvin Calup Evans who preceded her in death on August 22, 1995.

Mae is survived by 2 daughters, Jo Ann McCormick of Corinth, and Ruth Ann Lewis of Dry Ridge; 3 sons, Claude Evans of Demossville, Jerry Evans of Williamstown, and Marvin Ray Evans of Jonesville; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; and 1 brother, Henry Ford Hounchell of Somerset.

Funeral Services will be 1:00pm Friday, December 28, 2012 at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown, with burial to follow at the Mt. Pisgah Church Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11:00am Friday, at the funeral home.
