Tony Joe Atha

August 12, 1948 - December 22, 2012

Mr. Tony Joe Atha, a Dry Ridge resident, passed away at his residence in Sherman on December 22, 2012 at the age of 64. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruby Rex Atha.

Tony was an Air Force veteran of the Vietnam Conflict. He was a farmer for most of his life. He was also a former plant manager for Georgetown Cable "GCA" for twenty years. He loved his family dearly and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He was a NRA member and had a passion for birds, wildlife, and loved to golf.

Tony is survived by his father, Bernard Jay Atha, of Williamstown, his companion, Rebecca Crawford of Dry Ridge, KY, one son, Christopher Jay Atha of Lakeside Park, KY, one daughter, Carrie Kramer and her husband Kevin of Dry Ridge, KY, and two grandchildren, Cassandra and Emma Kramer of Dry Ridge, KY.

Visitation will be Thursday, December 27, 2012 from 11am-1pm at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home of Williamstown, KY, with the funeral at 1pm. Burial with military honors will follow at the Pleasant View Cemetery, Dry Ridge, KY. Memorials are suggested to the Cincinnati Children''s Hospital, 3333 Burnet Ave.,Cincinnati, OH 45229.
