William Alvin Bowling

December 2, 1959 - December 16, 2012

William A. "Jargo" Bowling, resident of Union, KY, was born Dec. 2, 1959 in Covington, Kentucky and passed away Dec. 16, 2012 in Cincinnati, Ohio at the age of 53. He was the son of the late Charles Robert and Lillian Mae Perry Bowling.

Jargo was a former Meatcutter, Handyman, and Landscaper. He was a member of the New Bethel Baptist Church in Verona and the Walton Good Guys Club.

He is survived by four brothers: Michael Bowling of Clearwater, FL, Jimbo Bowling of Covington, Jerry "Spud" Bowling of Glencoe, and Paul Bowling of Ryland Heights; two sisters: Pat Walker of Dry Ridge and Janie Vest of Verona; and his companion: Vickie Kelly of Union. He was preceded in death by a brother Robert "Dave" Bowling who passed away in 1998.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday, Dec. 21, 2012 at the Hamilton-Stanley Funeral Home, 14635 Walton-Verona Rd., Verona, KY 41092. Visitation will be Friday from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in New Bethel Cemetery in Verona.
