Gary V Cox Sr

Gary Vinson Cox, Sr. was born in Harlan, Kentucky on February 14, 1948 and passed away at his residence in Williamstown, Kentucky on June 7, 2013 at the age of 65. Gary was the son of the late James Woodrow and June Orliff Cox.

On November 18, 1964, Gary was united in marriage with Linda Marie Flowers who preceded him in death on March 23, 2010. Mr. Cox is survived by his sons: Gary V. Cox, Jr. of Owenton, Michael E. Cox of Owenton and Jeffrey Johnson of Cincinnati; daughters: Tracy Kannady of Dry Ridge and Tamra Cox of Williamstown; brother: Stephen Cox of Williamstown; stepsisters: Joann Anderson of Riverdale, GA and Jimmie Gayle Coulson of Williamstown; 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandson.

A member of the AARP and the NRA, the funeral services for Mr. Cox will be 6:00 PM Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at the Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home, 500 N. Main St., Williamstown, KY.Visitation will be 3:00 - 6:00 PM Wednesday, June 12, 2013, at the funeral home.Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
