Cheryl Hisle

June 16, 1948 - June 4, 2013

Cheryl Ann Hisle was born in Gary, Indiana on June 16, 1948 and passed away at the Georgetown Community Hospital in Georgetown, Kentucky on June 4, 2013 at the age of 64. She was the daughter of the late Franklin Seymore and Elizabeth Ann Kurnyak Corpe.

Cheryl is survived by her daughters: Chris Portwood of Georgetown, Jodi Salmons of Corinth and Brandy Hisle of Williamstown; son: Dennis Hisle, Jr. of Berea; brother: James Austin Corpe of Elsnore, Missouri; seven grandchildren: Christopher Lay, Chelsea Salmons, Kaylee Salmons, Kristian Hisle, Hannah Hisle, Micah Hisle and Luke Hisle; and two great grandchildren: Colby Lay and Dylan Lay. A sister, Mary Ellen Elam, a grandchild: Logan Ipock and two great grandchildren: Blaine Varner and Jamie Varner preceded her in death.

A graduate of Mercer County High School, she was a member of the Marcus Crooked Creek Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be 11 AM Saturday, June 8, 2013 at the Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home, 500 N. Main St., Williamstown, KY 41097. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday, June 7 from 5:00 - 8:00 PM Friday. Memorials suggested to the Cheryl Hisle Memorial Fund, P.O.Box 130, Williamstown, KY 41097. Burial will be in the Corinth IOOF Cemetery, Corinth.
