Verna Bates Curry

April 27, 1946 - May 11, 2013

Verna Mae Bates Curry was born April 27, 1946 in Hamilton, Ohio to the late William E. and Beatrice Aileen Proffitt Bates. She passed away May 11, 2013 in Williamstown, Kentucky at the age of 67.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Martin Solomon Curry in 2011.

She is survived by a son: William Anthony "Tony" Piper of Bellevue; four daughters: Tonya Hodges of Crittenden, Tina McGuffin of Pineville, Monica Webber of Williamstown, and Autumn Phillips of Williamstown; two stepdaughters: Sheryl Allen of Warsaw and Michelle Curry of London; two brothers: William Earl Bates of Independence and Gary Bates of Silver Grove; two sisters: Joyce Clifford of Williamstown and Starletta Ryan of Independence; and Several Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.

Memorial services will be 3:00 PM, Sunday, May 19, 2013 at Grace Baptist Church in Dry Ridge.
