Evelyn Meyer Sewell, a Walton resident, passed away at the St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood, on Sunday, April 28, 2013 at the age of 88. She was the widow of Roger Sewell.
Mrs. Sewell was born in Covington, KY to the late George and Lillian Scherder Meyer.She was retired from the Gap in Erlanger, after 18 yrs. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Bill Sewell, and six brother's and sister's.
Mrs. Sewell is survived by her daughters, Marie Elstun of Walton, Raetta Horton of Independence, Barbara Bates of Union, daughter in law, Linda Sewell,10 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday from 10am-12 noon with the funeral to follow at 12 noon at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home in Crittenden.Burial will follow at the Hill Crest Cemetery in Dry Ridge, KY. Memorials are suggested to the St. Elizabeth Hospice, 483 South Loop Road, Edgewood, KY 41017.
