Ann Perkins Adams

September 5, 1940 - March 22, 2013

Ann Perkins Adamswas born in Grant County, Kentucky on September 5, 1940 and passed away at her residence in Dry Ridge, Kentucky on March 22, 2013 at the age of 72. She was the daughter of the late James Henry and Lena Mae Humphrey Perkins.

On May 1, 1963, Ann was united in marriage with Raymond Junior Adams, who preceded her in deathon June 6, 2011. From this union, one son, Timothy Ray Adams was born. He was tragically killed in an auto accident on March 19, 1988. Two granddaughters: Jessica Louise Adams and Cathrine Michelle "Caty" Adams survive in addition to one sister: Carol Whaley of Williamstown and three brothers: Bill Perkins of Williamstown, James Perkins of Maryville, TN and Robert Perkins of Williamstown.

Mrs. Adams was a long time employee of the Dry Ridge I.G.A. Foodliner where she was the manager of the Dairy center. She later worked for Walmart in Dry Ridge. She was a lifelong member of the Clark's Creek Baptist Church in Dry Ridge where she served as Secretary and Treasurer.

Visitation for Mrs. Adams will be 4:00 - 8:00 PM, Wednesday, March 27, 2013at the Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home, 500 N. Main St., Williamstown, KY 41097. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Thursday, March 28, 2013at the Clark's Creek Baptist Church, Clark's Creeek Road, Dry Ridge, KY 41035. Memorials may be made to the church. Burial will be in the New Vine Run Cemetery, Dry Ridge.
