Denton "Pete" Noel

December 29, 1928 - March 23, 2013

Denton "Pete" Noel, resident of Williamstown, was born in Jonesville, Kentucky on December 29, 1928 and passed away at the St. Elizabeth Hospice, Edgewood, Kentucky on March 23, 2013 at the age of 84. He was the son of the late John and Mae Poland Noel.

On April 6, 1951, Pete was united in marriage with the former Doris Marie Eibeck. From this union three daughters were born: Candice Simpkins of Crittenden, Paula Ramey of Williamstown and Kim Prokopchak of Williamstown. In addition to his loving wife and daughters, Mr. Noel is survived by his sister, Alma Barnes of Dry Ridge; eight grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. His sister, Pauline Scroggins and his brother, Thurman Noel both preceded Denton in death.

A member of the Stringtown Christian Church, Mr. Noel was a retired electrician at American Tool in Cincinnatiand a member of the Williamstown American Legion. He proudly served his country during the Korean War in the United States Army.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at the Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home, 500 N. Main St., Williamstown, KY 41097. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, Mar. 26 from 4:00 - 7:00 PM. Burial will follow in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North in Williamstown.
