William Paul "Bill" Shepherd

April 23, 1930 - March 13, 2013

William P. "Bill" Shepherd, 82, Florence, KY was born April 23, 1930 in Blue Diamond, KY and died Wednesday, March 13, at his residence.

He was the son of the late William and Dora Belle Spurlock Shepherd, a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict, He was a retired Controller for Chrysler Airtemp in Dayton, OH as well as a Real Estate Broker and former employee of the Cincinnati Schools, a member of the Community Nazarene Church in Florence, KY, and an active volunteer with the Gideons International, Boone County Camp. William was united in marriage on June 29, 1957 to Shirley Mae Davis and gave his life to Jesus Christ in 1958.

In addition to his wife of 55 years Shirley, he is also survived by 2 sons, Scott A. (Heather) Shepherd of Frankfort, and Joel T. (Cheryl) Shepherd of Hebron; 1 daughter, Robin Lynn (Greg) Middleton of Florence; 6 grandchildren, Brittney Shepherd, Brandyn Shepherd, Candace Warner, Crystal Middleton, Hannah Shepherd, and Jacob Shepherd; and 1 sister Naomi Ruth McDaniel of Tennessee.

Funeral Services will be 9:30am, Friday, March15, 2013 at the Open Door Community Church, Turkeyfoot Road, Erlanger, with burial to follow at the Kentucky Veterans North Cemetery, Williamstown. Visitation will be 4:00-8:00pm Thursday, March 14, 2013 at the church.
