Larry Nickell

June 26, 1952 - March 8, 2013

Larry Nickell was born in Kentucky on June 26, 1952 and passed away at the St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Edgewood, Kentucky on March 8, 2013 at the age of 60. He was the son of the late Charles Warner and Eloise Ackman Nickell.

On July 17, 1971, Larry was united in marrriage with the former Kathy Merrill. In addition to his loving wife, Larry is survived byone daughter, Susie Plunkett of Crittenden and one son, Larry R. Nickell of Dry Ridge; grandchildren: Morgan Spann, Katlynn Nickell and Hoyt Plunkett; sisters: Margie vickers of Corinth, Teresa Kay Caswell of Falmouth, Ada Mae Kerns of Florence, Virginia Varner of Dry Ridge, Kathy Lou Caldwell of Dry Ridge, Sharon Merrill of Dry Ridge and Angie Rains of Crittenden; brothers:Greg Nickell of Dry Ridge and Garry Nickell of Williamstown and many other relatives and friends.

A member of the Mason Baptist Church, Mr. Nickell was a longtime employee of Aristech in Florence where he worked as a sawline operator.

Funeral services will be 4:00 PM, Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at the Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home, 500 N. Main St., Williamstown, Kentucky 41097. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Hill Crest Cemetery, Dry Ridge, KY. Memorial contributions may be made to the Dry Ridge Fire Department, 31 Broadway, DryRidge, KY 41035
