Jesse H "Pete" Roland

Jesse H. "Pete" Roland, Jr., 70, of the Holbrook community, Williamstown, KY was born November 28, 1942, and died Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at his residence.

Jesse was the son of the late Jesse Hickman "Jake" Roland, Sr. and Audrey Violet Fortner Roland, a member of the Bethany Baptist Church, Holbrook, a retired tool and die maker for Lockwood in Cincinnati, and Signode in Florence, and a farmer. He was preceded in death by his first wife Emma Lou Maynard Roland on October 31, 1997.

Survived is his wife Sara K. "Kathy" Robinson Roland; 2 sons, Wayne Roland of Williamstown and Mike Roland of Erlanger; 3 daughters, Dolores Luke of West Liberty, Lynn Work of Dry Ridge, and Teresa Rayburn of Holbrook; 1 brother Larry W. Roland of Holbrook; 2 sisters, Cheryl Darlene Roland and Beverly Sue Roland both of Holbrook; 9 grandchildren, Laura and Justin Luke, Adam Roland, Ryan Work, Shelley Work Tunstall, Justin and Julie Rayburn, Whitney Courtney, and Terin McAllister; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 11:00am Saturday, February 23, 2013 at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown with burial at the Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00pm-8:00pm Friday, February 22, 2013 at the funeral home.
