Winston L "Bucky" Combs

April 3, 1942 - December 7, 2012

Winston Lee "Bucky" Combs, 70, of Dry Ridge, KY died Friday, December 7, at St. Elizabeth, Edgewood.

He was the son of Winston H. Combs of Williamstown and the late Ada B. Davis Combs, a retired machine operator for Phillips - Chevron in Williamstown, owner of Bucky''s Gunsmith Shop, and a life member of the National Rifle Association. He was united in marriage to Virginia "Jenny" Mason Combs on March 29, 1963.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ada; 1 brother, Bobby Ray Combs and 1 sister, Betty Jo Combs.

In addition to his wife, Virginia, and father, Winston, he is survived by 1 son, Timothy Wayne Combs of Dry Ridge; 1 daughter Melody Ann Combs Carter of Dry Ridge; 3 grandchildren Brittany Griffith, Cody Carter, and Dakota Carter: 1 great grandson, Drake Michael Allen; and 1 sister, Barbara Snow of Burlington.

Funeral services will be 11:00am Tuesday, December 11, at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown. Visitation will be 4:00-6:00pm Monday at the funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Williamstown Cemetery.
