Annette Burroughs Benton

July 11, 1939 - October 10, 2012

A Crittenden resident, Mrs. Annette Benton passed away on Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood at the age of 73.

Mrs. Benton worked in housekeeping and cleaned for Fidelity Investments in Taylor Mill for several years.

She is survived by her husband James Benton, Jr. of Crittenden, KY,3 sons, Edward A. Propes of Jacksonville, FL, Terry D. Propes of Homerville, GA, Roger Propes of Valdosta, GA, 2 daughters, Claudia Propes of Homerville, GA, Annette Propes of Geneva, Al, one sister, Evene Cole of Jacksonville, FL, 17 grandchildren, and 28 great grandchildren.

Mrs. Benton was preceded in death by three brothers, Allen "Punk" Burroughs, Buck Burroughs, and Jiggs Burroughs; and 2 sons, Richard and Claude Franflin Probes, Jr.

Visitation will be Monday, October 15, 2012 from 11am-12:30 pm with the funeral to follow at 12:30 p.m. at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home in Crittenden, KY. Burial will follow at the KY Veterans Cemetery North in Williamstown, KY

Memorials are suggested to the Cincinnati Children's Hospital, 3333 Burnett Ave., Cincinnati, OH or the Cincinnati Shriners Hospital for Children, 3229 Burnet Ave., Cincinnati, OH.
