Retha Messer Wainscott

June 26, 1944 - September 25, 2012

Retha Wainscott was born on June 26, 1944 in Sheridan Co., New York and passed away on Sept. 25, 2012 in Cynthiana, Kentucky at the age of 68. She was the daughter of the lat Willie and Eva Hicks Messer.

Retha was a homemaker and a member of Pleasant Ridge Church of Christ in Pendleton Co.

She is survived by two sons: Jimmy Gayle Wainscott of Butler and Tony Wainscott of Corinth; a daughter: Teresa Wainscott of Bradenton, FL; four brothers: Alva Messer of Punta Gorda, FL, Ray Messer of Verona, Dallas Messer of Sparta, and Roger Messer of Sherman; two sisters: Bea Kinman of Georgetown and Alice Dixon Starns of Florence; and two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Friday, Sept. 28 at 7:00 PM at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown. visitation will be Friday from 4:00 - 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Messer Family Cemetery.
