Joe Ashcraft

September 16, 1927 - September 13, 2012

Joe Ashcraft of Williamstown passed away Thursday, September 13, 2012 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood at the age of 84.

He was a retired lathe operator, served in the US Navy during WWII, a member of the Williamstown Christian Church and Grant Lodge #85 F&AM.

He is survived by a son, Donald Joe Ashcraft of Richmond, IN; a daughter, Linda Jones of Dayton, KY; a half-brother, Gene Ashcraft of Williamstown; three grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Sinkovich Ashcraft in 2004.

Visitation will be 4-8pm, Sunday, September 16th with funeral service at 1pm on Monday, September 17th at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, 500 North Main Street, Williamstown, KY 41097. Burial will be in the Williamstown Cemetery.
