Dallas E Ward

June 18, 1939 - August 9, 2012

Dallas E. Ward, 73 of Florence passed away quietly and peacefully at his home among family on Thursday, August 9, 2012.

He was the son of the late Lauchey and Ella Abshire Ward. He worked in shipping and receiving for Sears in Cincinnati & Florence and L''Oreal USA in Florence, was a member of the Grant County Church of Christ in Dry Ridge and served in the US Army Reserves for six years.

He is survived by his wife of forty eight years, Audrey Kells Ward of Florence; a daughter, Tonya Ward-Brock of Williamstown; a son, Shawn L. Ward of Florence; three sisters, Sue Anderson, Magdalene Varney, & Thelma Hunt all of Phyllis, KY; four grandchildren, Cody Thierauf, Taryn & Haleigh Ward and Ashley Brock-Kalb and two great grandchildren, Olivia and Noah Kalb. He is preceded in death by three brothers, Ervin, Ertel & Thurman and four sisters, Ellen, Ersa, Erma & Emadaline.

Visitation will be 4-8pm Monday with funeral service at 11am on Tuesday, August 14th at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, 500 North Main Street, Williamstown, KY 41097. Burial will be in the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery, Williamstown.
