Matthew A. Wessell of Florence, KY was born April 27, 1957 in Portsmouth, OH and died Saturday, September 6, 2014 in Edgewood, KY at the age of 57.

He was the son of the late Carl Vincent and Janet Sue Hopkins Wessell, Jr., a retired clerical employee with The Gap Warehouse, Hebron, KY, and a member of the Dry Ridge Christian Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Nancy Jo Wessell.
Surviving is 2 brothers, Bill and David Wessell both of Williamstown; 1 sister, Carla Wessell Murphy of Greensburg, IN; 1 nephew, Tristan Murphy; and 1 niece, Maci Murphy-Vogel, both of Greensburg, IN.
Funeral Services forMatthew will be at 7:30 P.M., Thursday, September 11, 2014 at the Dry Ridge Christian Church, 13 School Street, Dry Ridge, KY. Visitation will be 4:30 P.M. - 7:30 P.M., Thursday at the Church. Burial will be 1:00 P.M. Friday, September 12, 2014 at the Scioto Burial Park, McDermott, Ohio.
