Brenda Carol Parker

September 19, 1958 - August 12, 2014

Brenda Carol Prather Parker was born Sept. 19, 1958 in Owen Co., Kentucky and passed away August 12, 2014 in Rockcastle Co., Kentucky at the age of 55. She was the daughter of Edith Mae Hudnall Prather of Owenton and the late Justice Junior Prather.

Brenda was a former waitress for many restaurants including Waffle House in Carrollton. She was also a member of the Greenup Fork Baptist Church.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by a daughter: Amy Carol Ellis of Carrollton; three sons: Kennett Parker of Dry Ridge, John Paul Parker of Lebanon and Robert Parker of Carrollton; two brothers: Tommy Glen Prather of Dry Ridge and Daryl Wayne Prather of Owenton; and 18 Grandchildren.

Brenda was preceded in death by her sister: Shirley Mae Chadwell.

Graveside services will be 2:30 PM Monday, Aug. 18, 2014 at Mt. Hebron Cemetery in Owen Co.
