Gilbert McIntosh

March 17, 1945 - June 18, 2014

Gilbert McIntosh was born March 17, 1945 in Owsley Co., Kentucky and passed away June 18, 2014 in Edgewood, Kentucky at the age of 69. He was the son of the late Zeph and Loretta Reed McIntosh.

Gilbert was a self-employed drywall finisher. He retired with more than 45 years in the drywall business.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife: Rita Mills McIntosh.

Gilbert is survived by 3 sons: Gilbert Lynn McIntosh (Anna) of Walton, Douglas Ray McIntosh (Lisa) of Demossville, and David Lee McIntosh (Paula) of Georgetown; a daughter: Cindy McIntosh Nolasco of Williamstown; a stepson: Daryl Wayne McIntosh of Louisville; a brother: Arnold McIntosh of Crittenden; a sister: Sophia Meece of Florence; and 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Sunday, June 22, 2014 at Hamilton-Stanley Funeral Home. Visitation will be 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in New Bethel Cemetery
