David L Shuler Sr

August 5, 1926 - May 29, 2014

David L. Shuler, Sr., a Corinth, KY resident, passed away at Bridge Point Center in Florence, on Thursday, May 29, 2014 at the age of 87.

Mr. Shuler was a retired carpenter, a member of the Southwest Ohio Regional Council of Carpenters, a member of the Syrian Shrine Temple in Cincinnati, a member of the Kilwinning Masonic Lodge #356 in Cincinnati, and a past Post Commander of the Astor Post #9986 Veterans of Foreign Wars.

He is survived by two sons, Vincent Shuler of West Carrollton, OH and David L. Shuler, Jr. of Corinth, a daughter, Ruth Ann Justice of Ieager, WV, two brothers, Donald Shuler of Hammersville, OH, and Walter Gerhardstein of Anderson Township, OH, eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Mr. Shuler was preceded in death by his parents, George and Margaret Sherlock Shuler, two brothers, George and Paul Shuler, and one son, Brian Shuler.

Committal services will be held 2:00 PM, Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at the Kentucky Veteran''s Cemetery, North.Visitation will be 12:30 PM to 1:45 PM at the Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown. Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society, 297 Buttermilk Pike, Fort Mitchell, KY 41017.
