Robert E. Lewis of Dry Ridge was born January 10, 1931 in New Liberty, KY and died Saturday, May 24, 2014 at the St. Elizabeth Hospice, Florence, KY at the age of 83.

He was the son of the late Allen Sleet and Montana Webster Lewis, a retired farmer and awning installer, and a member of the Greenup Fork Baptist Church, Owen County, KY. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by 4 sons, Bobby Lewis, Mark Anthony Lewis, Randy Hartman, and Harold E. Lewis; 1 brother, Ray Lewis; and 2 sisters, Jane Minch and Jean Lewis.
Surviving is 6 sons, Donnie E. Lewis of Bellevue, Perry C. Lewis and Gary W. Lewis both of Dry Ridge, Edward W. Lewis of Taylor Mill, David L. Lewis of Rock Hill, SC, and Jeffrey A. Kells of Butler; 4 daughters, Shirley Osborne of Jonesville, Nancy Wainscott of Crittenden, Dianna Webster of Williamstown, and Karen Kiser of Mansfield, OH; 1 brother Jimmy Lewis of Dry Ridge; 1 sister Terry Caldwell of Florence; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11:00am Thursday, May 29, 2014 at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown, followed by burial in the Williamstown Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00-8:00 p.m.Wednesdayat the funeral home.
