Gilbert Gibson

Gilbert Gibson of Dry Ridge, KY was born May 10, 1936 in Peoria, IL and died Friday, May 23, 2014 at Grant Center Nursing Home, Williamstown at the age of 78.

He was the son of the late Jessie and Dessie Pearl Madden Gibson, a member of the Knoxville Baptist Church, and a retired self-employed carpenter. On Nov. 3, 1992, he was united in marriage to his wife Eva Frances Puckett.
In addition to his wife Eva, he is survived by 2 daughters, Carol Jean Dewalt of Florence, and Brenda Sue Alexander of Colrain, OH; 3 sons Kevin Fred Willoughby, Gilbert Bradley Gibson, and Trenton Willoughby, all of Dry Ridge; 13 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and 2 sisters Mary Rose Wittson of Crittenden, and Lillian Lee of Jacksonville, FL.
Funeral services will be 12:00 noon, Wednesday, May 28. 2014, at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown, followed by burial at the Mason Cemetery. Visitation will be after 10:00am Wednesday at the funeral home.
