Neal Joseph Ventura, a Corinth resident, passed away at his residence on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at the age of 60. He was preceded in death by his wife, KarenKay Ventura.

Neal was retired as a Boone Co. Police Detective of over 20 years, was a former St. Elizabeth Security Training Officer, DOCJT Training Officer, and most recently was a Grant Co. Sheriff Deputy. Neal was a member of the F.O.P., S.A.S.S., CCDW Instructor, and a founder of the Boone Co. Police Departments Mounted Patrol.

Neal is survived by two daughters, Tina (Jay) Ventura-Kerl of Williamstown, Jamie (Alonzo) Perkins of Corinth, two sons, Anthony "Tony" Ventura of Hebron, Neal "Joey" Ventura, Jr. of Corinth, and seven grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Saturday, May 24, 2014 at 5pm at the Elliston Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown, KY.Visitation will be Saturday from 3-5pm.Burial will follow at the Williamstown Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to S.A.S.S. Scholarship Foundation, 215 Cowboy Way, Edgewood, NM 87015.
