Kenneth Starns

September 18, 1924 - May 6, 2014

Paul Kenneth Starns was born in Pendleton County, Kentucky on September 18, 1924 and passed away at his home in Latonia, Kentucky on May 6, 2014 at the age of 89. He was the son of the late Erva and Virgie Payne Starns.

On June 9, 1945, Kenneth was united in marriage with the former Helen Jean Lafollette. From this marriage two daughters: Julia Fay Bass of Covington and Patty Jean Starns of Covington and one son: Paul L. Starns, who died in 2007, were born. Inaddition to his loving wife of almost 69 years and his devoted daughters, Mr. Starns is survived by his sister, June Hess of Hustonville; five grandchldren, 13 great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents and son, Kenneth was preceded in death by a brother: Cecil Lee Starns in 2012.

Mr. Starns was a maintenance man for PNC Bank, had formerly worked as a bus driver for Green Lines and had delivered meat to groceries for several years. He was a member of the Immanual Baptist Church in Covington until it closed.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Friday, May 9, 2014 at the Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home, 500 N. Main St., Williamstown, KY 41097. Visitation will be at the funeral home from Noon - 2:00 PM, Friday. Burial will be in the Williamstown Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Kenneth Starns Memorial Fund, c/o P. O.
