Charles E Conrad

April 29, 1947 - March 22, 2014

Charles Ernest Conrad was born in Pendleton County, Kentucky on April 29, 1947 and passed away at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center on March 22, 2014 at the age of 66. He was the son of the late Donald Edwin and Alma Jean King Conrad.

On August 5, 1966, Charlie was united in marriage with Beth L. Brill. From this union two daughters were born: Debra L. Jaconette who with her husband, Mark make their home in Dry Ridge and Cheryl L. Gatewood who with her husband Mark also make their home in Dry Ridge. In addition to his loving wife and daughters, Mr. Conrad is survived by a brother: Donald E. Conrad, Jr. of Crittenden; grandchildren: Victoria-Lauren Celeste Jones, Blake Steven Gatewood, Morgan Paige Gatewood, Benjamin Wyatt Gatewood, Roman Charles Jaconette, Courtney Elizabeth Jaconette and Conrad Thomas Jaconette; a great granddaughter: Willow Grace and many other relatives and friends. Charlie's sister, Cheryl Darlene Conrad died in 1963 as a high school senior from a sudden heart attack.

A member and Deacon of the Dry Ridge Baptist Church, Mr. Conrad was a longtime member of the Grant County Fair Board, Grant County 4H Council; former member of the Grant County Jaycees and the standing President of the Grant County Farm Bureau. He was a graduate of Grant County High School and earned an associatedegree from Eastern Kentucky State College, now Eastern Kentucky University.

A Celebration of Life will begin at 2:00 PM, Sunday, March 30, 2014 at the Dry Ridge Baptist Church, 19 Broadway, Dry Ridge, KY 41035. Memorials are suggested to the Dry Ridge Baptist Church or the Grant County 4H, 105 Baton Rouge Rd., Williamstown, KY 41097.
