Virginia Lee Richie Combs

Virginia Lee Richie Combs, of Florence, KY was born June 30, 1936 in Hazard, KY and died Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at St Elizabeth Hospice, Florence, KY at the age of 77.

She was the daughter of the late William and Winnie Combs Richie; a retired sales clerk for Rinks Department Store; and a member of the Florence Baptist Temple. On February 3, 1962 Virginia was united in marriage to her late husband Nick Combs, who passed away January 28, 2014.
Survived are 2 sons, Kenneth Logan Wells of Harrison, OH and Mark David Combs of Ft. Mitchell, KY; 5 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and 1 sister, Catherine Curry of Richmond, KY.
Funeral services are 2:00pm Saturday, March 15, 2014 at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Crittenden, KY with burial to follow in the Williamstown Cemetery. Visitation is 12:00 noon - 2:00pm Saturday at the funeral home.
