Reavis "Reb" Bryant Stacey

Reavis "Reb" Bryant Stacey, 88, of Williamstown, passed away on Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at his residence.Reb is survived by his wife, Wylene Ledbetter Stacey.
Reb was an Air Force veteran of WWII, a business entrepreneur with prior ownership of 30 + Cinderella Dry Cleaners and coin laundries throughout the U.S., a tree farmer having planted more than 13,000 trees throughout the county, the host ofmany Boy Scouts and field trips at the Reb Stacey Woodland and Wildlife Farmin Folsom, KY, an avid water and snow skier, had a passion to dance, has often been referred to as the grandfather of Williamstown Lake, a KY Colonel, was chosen as the 2013 Veteran of the Year, former manager of the Williamstown Marina, recipient of the KY Lifetime Environmental Protection award, andgave numerous donations to the benefit of Grant County and the Historical Society
In addition to his wife, Wylene, Reb is survived by one son, Bill (Linda) Staceyof Fairfield, OH, two daughters, Debi (Art) Stacey-Billington of Atlanta, GA, Diane (Mark Murray) Stacey of Williamstown, KY, six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Saturday, November 1, 2014 from 12 noon - 3pm at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, 500 North Main St., Williamstown, KY 41097. Funeral services will follow at 3pm.Private burial will be at the KY Veterans Cemetery North, Williamstown on a future date at the convenience of the family.Memorials are suggested to the Grant County Animal Shelter, 218 Barnes Rd., Williamstown, KY 41097.
