Mr. Ernest Ray "Doodle" Bobb, a Williamstown resident, passed away on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at his residence at the age of 81. He was preceded in death by his wife Elizabeth "Betsy" Wilson and brother, John Franklin Bobb.
Doodle Bobb was a retired U.S. Postal employee after 20+ years of service. He was a former auctioneer, water truck hauler, Pendleton Co. school bus driver, Sr. Services of Northern KY van driver, Grant Co. School van driver, KY Colonel, and was a member of the Dry Ridge Baptist Church.
Mr. Bobb is survived by his former wife and mother of his children, Wilma Bowen Rose of Demossville, three daughters, Beverly Davis (Marvin) of Demossville, Kathy Jo Banfield (Jeff) of Falmouth, Linda Justice (Darren) of Dry Ridge, one brother, Kenneth Lee Bobb of Dry Ridge, four sisters, Susan Turley of Demossville, Shirley Kennedy of Edgewood, Nettie Perry of Mt. Washington, OH, Rosemary Bond of Florence, five grandchildren, Scott, Andrew, Matthew, Luke, Madison, and six great grandchildren, Clarissa, Tanner, Carter, Mason, Braden and Bailey.
Visitation will be Wednesday, May 25, 2016 from 11am-2pm at the Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home in Williamstown, KY. Funeral services will be at 2pm at the funeral home. Burial with military honors will follow at the Williamstown Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Dry Ridge Baptist Church or the church or charity of the donor''s choice.
