Rosella Mae Scroggins

July 24, 1929 - April 30, 2016

Rosella Mae Scroggins was born July 24, 1929 in Elliston, Kentucky and passed away April 30, 2016 in Maysville, Kentucky at the age of 86. She was the daughter of the late Dalson and Nora Updike Blackburn.

Rosella was a resident of Robertson Co. and formerly of Williamstown. She was a retired Deputy Clerk for Grant County Clerk's Office and a former secretary for B.L. Ballard's Insurance. She was a member of the Williamstown Baptist Church.

Rosella is survived by her son: Austin D. Scroggins of Williamstown; and 3 grandsons: Jacob Tyler Scroggins of Williamstown, Glenn Austin Scroggins, II of Williamstown and Trevor Bray of Park Hills. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Austin Scroggins, on Nov. 26, 1999. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers: Dalson Blaine Blackburn and Warren J. Blackburn.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Friday, May 6, 2016 at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home with Rev. Terry Leap officiating. Visitation will be 5:00 - 8:00 PM Thurdsday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the New Vine Run Cemetery in Dry Ridge.
