Charles Edward Chipman

August 10, 1947 - February 22, 2014

Charles Edward Chipman, of Monticello, Kentucky,and formerly of Northern Kentucky, was born August 10, 1947 in Covington, Kentucky and died Saturday, February 22, 2014 in Panama City, Florida at the age of 66.

He was the son of the late August Edward and Helen Marie Spillman Chipman, A U.S. Army Veteran, and a retired Engineer and Co-Owner of Pedtech, LLC in Erlanger, Kentucky. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Stella Rose.
Surviving is his wife, Janet Gail Kien Chipman of Monticello; 1 son, Walter Theodore Chipman of Ocala, FL; 2 daughters, Angela Beth Eldridge, of Ft. Mitchell, and Melissa Renee Merrill of Independence; 1 step-son, Jason Allen Wessel, of Cleaves, OH; 1 step-daughter, Jodi Lyn Wessel of Western Hills, OH; 19 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Russel Earl Chipman of Verona, and Dennis Clark Chipman of Florence; and 3 sisters, Mary Hope Elliott of Gilford, IN, Sarah A. Perry of Brookville, OH, and Laura Nan Hopper of Verona.
Funeral services will be 7:00pm Thursday, February 27, 2014 at the Hamilton-Stanley Funeral Home, Verona, KY. Visitation will also be Thursday 4:00-7:00pm at the funeral home. Burial will be Friday at 12:00noon at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North, Williamstown, KY.
