Kyle Sims

July 31, 1938 - February 14, 2014

Kyle Sims of Verona, KY was born July 31, 1938 in Casey County, KY and passed away Friday, February 14, 2014 in Florence, KY at the age of 75.

He was the son of the late Robert and Reba Virginia Angel Sims, a retired diesel mechanic for Key GMC in Cincinnati, OH, and a member of the Cincinnati Kopeling Pigeon Flyers. In addition to his parents, Kyle was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Larry (Tina Halpin) Sims and Ricky Sims, and 1 sister, Mavin (Mike) Lauchard.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy Price Sims of Verona; 2 sons, Tony Sims of Cape Coral, FL and Ronnie (Shannon) Sims of Crittenden; 1 Brother, Bobby (Tommy) Sims of Ohio; 2 sisters, Kathleen (Ron) Zins and Judy (Jim) Boehl, both of Ohio; 4 grandchildren, Elizabeth (TJ) Shinkle, Crystal Sims, Jeremy Sims, and Covina Burden; and 2 great-grandchildren, Haygen and Hadley Shinkle.

Funeral services will be 1:00pm, Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at the Hamilton-Stanley Funeral Home, Verona, with burial to follow in the New Bethel Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00-8:00pm Tuesday, at the funeral home.
