Dorothy May Furler Rix

Dorothy Rix of Crittenden, KY was born May 1, 1935 in Palmerton, PA and passed away Sunday, January 12, 2014 in Edgewood, KY at the age of 78.

She was the daughter of the late Charles Henry and Margaret Mary Kolish Furler, a homemaker and artist, a member of the Grant County Historical Society and Gardnersville Baptist Church, and she was the Widow of the late Ronald Earl Rix.
Survived are 2 daughters, Debra (Reinhard) Hirtler of Wilksboro, NC and Susan Hill of Crittenden, KY; 2 brothers, Richard (Betty) Furler of Palmerton, PA and R. Bruce (Karen) Reiner of Allentown. PA; 3 grandchildren Megan Hill, Daniel Hirtler, and Christopher Hirtler; and 1 great granddaughter, Olyvia Bedinghaus.
